DESCRIPTION:
Joseph Ives, New York, 8 day, time and strike, spring brass movement mirror clock.
CONDITION:
Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old finish has some damage on the lower right side and the top left chimney block. Original top tablet has some scattered loss. Bottom tablet looks to be original, but has been out of the case. It has some loss and poor inpainting. Mirror looks original. Original iron and brass weight movement has been replaced with a newer 8 day spring version. Original painted dial has been redrilled for the new movement. Original hands.
